Everyone's familiar with the Miss International, Kevin Balot. But what we don't know is that long ago, before Kevin Balot's fame, there's another transgender who was crowned as Miss International Queen in 2004.
She is Poyd Treechada, during his childhood, he already knew that he has a heart of a girl. He started wearing skirts of his friends and because of that, he was beaten up by his mother and was forced to play football and other manly games.
At the age of 18, he decided to pursue his dreams. He underwent surgeries and treatments, to become a real woman. After the successful operations, he then joined the most prestigious beauty competitions for transgenders.
She was crowned as the Miss Tiffany universe and the first ever Miss International Queen.
After everything that she experienced, I must say that he must be very proud of his self for pursuing his dreams and now, he's being respected by other people!
