3 years ago, a cannibal attack took place in Miami. Rudy Eugene attacked and ate the face of a homeless man named Poppo.
Before the incident happened, Eugene was driving his car to Miami to attend Urban Beach Week when it suddenly stopped working. He then walked for 3 miles. Along the way, Eugene took off all his clothes only leaving his shoes and the bible in his hands. He then threw the bible and started eating the face of Poppo.
Luckily, a cyclist named Larry Vega witnessed the crime and immediately called 911.
They were able to rescue Poppo but it left him a life changing damage. The incident left him blinded and he suffered critical injuries.
He underwent facial reconstruction and received medical treatments that took months to be fully completed. He showed everyone that he's very much thankful to those who saved him and gave him a better life!
