We can't deny the fact that our world is already divided by wealth, race and sometimes, even religion. If we're already divided with those, how much more can we be divided when we have HIV?
Let's face the truth that whenever we found out that a person is positive with HIV, we often stay away from them right? Thinking that we might get infected right? Because of that, a Finnish guy who's positive with HIV did something that will really break your heart.
In this video, a Finnis guy named Janne Antin, an HIV positive person, stood in the middle of the street with a sign beside him saying "I'm HIV positive, touch me!"
He wanted to show everyone what it feels like to be an HIV-positive person, to let them know what it feels like to be avoided by people. But something surprising happened, as he was standing in the middle of the streets a woman suddenly held his hand.
And with that, more and more people came to him to give him a tap, to hold his hand and the most heart melting? A hug. Lots of people gave him a hug as a sign of encouragement.
Those little things like hugs and taps is one of the treatments that a person like him needed.
