An officer in Roeland Park has warmed lots of hearts after helping a widowed mother of six pay for her groceries despite the fact that she was caught shoplifting at Walmart.
The mother of six daughters, Sarah Robinson and her children had been homeless after her husband's death in an accidental drowning in 2012
Mark Engravalle caught Sarah Robinsons shoplifting at Walmart, but instead of arresting her, he paid for what she stole. He also noticed that the daughters of Sarah Robinsons were barefoot and their feet were really dirty.
So, he thought of the best thing to do. He bought diapers, baby wipes, clothes and shoes for them. The officer claims that he thought of his children when he saw the situation of Sarah Robinson's children.
Sarah Robinsons admits that she's really embarrassed with what she did.
Because of this incident, the police department is now allowing people to donate for Sarah Roinson's daughters!
