Most people these days are working really hard to earn enough money to support their family, but what would happen if the money you're supposed to earn will just end up being taken by a scam?
This 70-year-old man named Mr. Tan Soy Kiang was told by the 'Singaporean government' that he owed them $400,000.
Because of the fear of being sent to jail, he had 2 jobs for the past 15 years. He can still recall 15 years ago that there were two women who came to him and claim that he owed money from the Singaporean government.
The good thing is that his niece came back to Singapore from Australia and she was shocked to see the condition of her uncle.
So her uncle explained his alleged debt to the Singaporean government and the she found out that everything was just a scam.
The two women were already in the hands of the policemen and were forced to pay the old man $500 monthly to give back what they took from him.
